Metal-wire chassisMy first chassis were made from wires and metal plates. Two parallel steel wires created basic frame on which brass plates were soldered and offered support for axles, guide and body. Such design I had used for 2 years while I was still thinking about something better. |

Hand-cut PCB chassisOnce I tried to cut out chassis from the printed circuit board (PCB). After some time of experimenting and gaining some skills I was able to cut out chassis to fit any of my car. It was better than metal-wire chassis. From aesthetic point of view inner parts of a car were hidden and from functional one chassis was more flexible. On the other hand it was quite time consuming to design every chassis extra. |
